Gio, a young man living in NYC, returns to his old neighborhood to celebrate a traditional Italian-American party with his family and friends bringing his mom famous cake. When he arrives, he discovers that the night is not going to be the simple celebration he had hoped for. As he reconnects with his roots and uncovers the truth about his father's murder, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous web of secrets, lies, and betrayals that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.
